Too many things, Not enough time.

So as you may have noticed I haven't blogged in the past few days, maybe even a week or so. I've been very busy with working and such and literally haven't had much time to myself.
Its a little hard for me to currently type also, I had my Implanon fitted today and im struggiling to use my arm due ton the anastetic wearing off.

I've currently bought a few new products and ive been trying to use them as much as I can so I can give you a proper opinion on them.

So watch out in the near future for a few updates on life, purchases and product reviews.

More technical problems.

So it would appear I have lost my SD card reader for my ancient laptop, I can't actually upload any of my own photos from my decent camera. Tomorrow Im going to some how figure out how to get them on so I can provide you with some of my own photos during my reviews and just general photography i've taken over the week or so. I've seen a few people do a 'my week in photos' which I thought would be a good idea. Considering im at work about 3/4 of the week it may be a little bland so I shall try to keep it exciting by doing actual things with my time off. Not just sat at home writing to all of you who actually read my blog.

Tonight my mum is hopefully helping me to bleach my hair again and dye it so i'll be a little bit more Alexa Chung than a scene kid cast off and I will be going to watch the Olypmic torch run through our town so I'll make sure to get a few photos of that also.

You may have notice I've updated my theme again, I like this one a lot more but for some reason even when I set the image borders as white they show up as grey. Or is that just me viewing my blog?
Thanks for reading, goodbye for now bloggers.

Maybelline Dream Lumi-touch Review.

Covering spots and dark circles in the morning can be a massive task that can just look like i've wasted my time if my concelaer doesn't actually do the trick. After trying (and failing!) with many products, I just picked this one up on a offer that maybelline was doing in the hope it would be pretty okay, considering it was free it was more of just a trial. Well, I'm glad I purchased it, its the best concelear i've ever used.

This is what Boots have to say about the product:
"Introducing Maybelline's first ever gel-based formula that diffuses light to illuminate as it conceals without feeling heavy or looking cakey, skin appears brighter and awakened.
Evens out appearance of skin tone and texture.
With one dreamy touch this amazingly lightweight gel-infused formula instantly conceals to help reduce the look and appearance of skin imperfections.
Now add a touch of perfecting light to shadowy areas under eyes, above the brow, cheek bones, or sides of the nose while helping to conceal imperfections."

This concelear has such a nice texutre to it, its almost like a foundation texture but its not heavy enough to be a foundation. If I was having a really good skin day i'd maybe just use this on my problem areas but I always seem to have a slightly dull complexion thats screams for foundation. It really does cover spots/ redness and its AMAZING on dark circles. I don't think I could honestly live without it in my routine anymore.
It claims to be a 'highlighter' of sorts which I wouldn't agree with. I mean unless you buy it in a slightly lighter shade you could use it as a highlighter but then it wouldnt be a concelear also, if you catch my drift?

Again I purchased this on a BOGOHP. (Buy one get one half price) with another Maybelline product, im not sure how often this offer happens but Im pretty sure its actually on a 3 for 2 at the moment but with an asking price of £6.99 its not exactly breaking the bank.

I'd give this product 8/10 but compared to some of the 'concealers' i've used and that actually are on the market its probably much more of a 9/10.

I hope this little review has helped people. Thanks for reading.

Hair Envy.

Looking at images of Alexa Chung always makes me feel a little less confident because of how amazingly beautiful she is, but more so, how beautiful her hair is, its just, amazing. I'm a little gutted mine turned out like it did but once I've sorted it I'm hoping i'll be more onto the path of this but with a slightly darker brown. I may get my mum to put a few thing slices through the blonde once I've got it to the light ashy tone I want to maybe break it up a little more. I'm fully aware the Ombre Dip-dye dream is far away right now but I'm starting to embrace my underside dye instead, I just want it to be blonde and not this horrid shade of gingery blonde it its at the moment.

Have you ever had a hair-dye disaster that has actually worked in your favor and has become something you've kept?

Note to you all.

Just a quick buzz to you all. Most of my blogs may just be little rants or a few things for myself but if there is anything you'd like to see leave me a comment or question and I shall do my best to get back to you.

If there are any products you'd like me to post about such make-up products by Maybelline, Bourjois, ECT then let me know as I may have them or may be interested in trying them and I'd be happy to review them.

Also shampoos and conditioners for brunettes, blondes or colored hair.

Goodbye for now bloggers, I look forward to hearing from you.

Bourjois 123 review.

Okay so I managed to fix my technical difficulty issues. I literally just have to use Google Chrome instead of Internet Explorer and hey presto, I can upload images. So here is a quick review on a new foundation on the market that i've used for the past few weeks and LOVE Bourjois 123 Perfect Foundation. This is (what I believe) to be Bourjois's newest foundation release on the market. The said foundation claims to 'give a flawless even complexion lasting for up to 16 hours. 24 hour hydration and anti shine. SPF 10. Medium coverage that lets the skin breathe and a soft and smooth formula for a second skin finish. Its a special new formula that contains 3 colored pigments to cover dark circles, redness and improve a dull complexion.

For once, this foundation actually lives up to its hype. I have tried pretty much every 'affordable' foundation that claims to cover spots and improve skins complexion and such. None have worked of course, except this little bad boy. Its such a lovely mixture to use (I mix it with my Olay daily moisturizer) and its lasted about 2 weeks already which is also a bonus as I still have about 3/4 of a bottle left. I got it on offer for £6.99 with a introductory discount but i'd defiantly spend the full asking price of £10.99.

-Edit 20/05/12-
I didn't get to finish this post last night due to the boyfriend picking me up on a whim which was a lovely surprise. Anyways yes, This foundation is amazing. The colored pigments (from what I can see) do actually work. Its quite a runny product but it blends into the skin nicely with a little bit of a buffering with a foundation brush. I'd suggest placing the product onto the skin with your fingers as it melts a little more and then blending with a brush to finish. After setting with powder the foundation seems to last mostly through my 10 hour shifts (I work in a smoothie bar so its none stop running around and its a very humid temperature there) and it starts to lose its wear a little after the 8 hour mark. I don't think it lives up to the '16 hour' hype but its very good wear for about 8-10 hours.

Overall i'd give this product a 7/8 out of 10.

Hope you enjoyed this little review bloggers, more to come. Goodbye for now bloggers.

Curves VS Skinny.

Thats a big conversation I know. But i've been thinking about it lately and its an odd thing. (I've gained about 2 stone in the past year or so, due to meeting my boyfriend and becoming overly comfortable and my contraceptive injection screwing with my body)

I've always respected women like Christina Hendricks who appreciates her curves and flaunts them but I cant think if she truly feels that comfortable with her body inside her head. A lot of people think im quite confident with my body but the truth is i'd do anything to be skinny again. Losing about 2-3 stone would probably make me a very happy young lady, but then would it?

I may not be making a huge amount of sense but whilst im typing this im really thinking about how many of us are actually comfortable with the size we are. Quite a lot of skinny girls I know talk about wanting to be curvier but not 'fat'. But then anyone who see who is curvy or classed as 'slightly overweight' (I am overweight according to my BMI by the way) they CRAVE to lose weight or be slightly skinnier. I mean if I could tone up my body in the next week and BAM have no stretch marks on my legs or no muffin top and such, then i'd be amazingly happy.

Its just a strange debate as to wether the general female public are actually happy with their bodies. Im scared for the summer to come, getting my body out in shorts or a bikini but then should I be?

I'd love to here from some of you as to what you think about this whole thing. Are you skinny but you'd crave to have more curves or are you curvy like me and you'd love to be skinnee? Or are you actually a female goddess like Christina Hendricks who can happily say 'I love my body. End of.'

Technical problems.

Good evening fellow bloggers. I have 'edited' some of my other posts as I have now managed to get my old laptop working again. (You may have also notice I've fixed my layout. Its nothing major and flashy but it'll do for now)

Im trying to actually get a 'Chloe-Mary' text at the bottom of my posts but my computer is refusing to let me upload pictures at all so my posts may look a little plain until I figure out how to work around that problem.

This is more of just a technical update. I dont have much to say as I didnt do too much today. I went on a day trip to Brean with my boyfriend but we ran out of funds and I didnt take my camera so our day was cut a little short sadly.

Next week my mum is going to help me fix my hair so I will be able to show you all the first glimpses of the final product as I am aware I haven't posted any images of my hair.

Have a lovely evening and a lovely rest of the weekend. (I shall be working so no posts tomorrow)

Goodbye for now bloggers.

Fresh start.

I can't for the life of me get used to this new layout for the dashboard and posts. Im not quit sure how to work most of it but im trying my best to get with it. Would've been so much easier if they just kept it the same. Maybe its showing how long I haven't actually been on here. It may not help im doing this post on an android tablet. I just want february to hurry as Im getting a new laptop for my birthday so I can get back on here and be serious again with the layout and such.

So Im thinking of starting posts and maybe videos about hair care and makeup reviews soon. Ive been buying loads of new high stret products that have some hype about them or claim to do certain miracles and such and Im thinking of giving you all my honest opinion and showing you results after using these products. Not sure if anyone would be interested but I'd love if you give me your opinion on if you'd watch?
I braved the Ombre/Dip-dye fashion but it didnt go EXACTLY as planned. My hairdresser decided to dye the underside of my hair instead of the actual ombre process and chopped my upper layers to show the blonde through. Its a little brassy and ginger at the moment but Im hoping to sort that out myself. I've purchased some blonde 'tone corrector' shampoos that I used to use on my full blonde hair and I've also got some B-Blonde bleach and a 'Cool' Blonde dye which apprently tones done blonde thats gone too brassy so I will let you know all how the goes and show you some photos.

Please leave me some comments either replying to any of my questions or just general comments and opinions. I hardly recieve any since I've restarted so I'd love to dive back in and get some Q+A's going.

Thankyou. Goodbye for now bloggers.

Wednesday 9 May 2012

Hi to you all, again.

So it appears I havent written on ths blog in a long long time. Apoligies to anyone who actually did read it.

So recently I have been wanting to ombre or 'dip dye' my short hair but ive been scared and ive tried to wait it out until its been a less popular choice. Ive recently changed my hair and had it trimmed to a bob which I do love, I just have to wear it up for work so im not appreciating it as much. I've been quoted for it so I think i will save up and brave it.
I also have been loving my makeup more much lately and have been researching the Naked 2 pallete by Urban Decay and im thinking of investing.

Also i have noticed lots of people subscribing to Glossy Beauty Box which looks very interesting. Anybody got any really good reviews for the monthly beauty boxes or the glossy box itself? Id be interested to know if its worth it.
